Let x be the length of the train,

Speed = 90 kmph = 90*(5/18) = 25 m/s

Distance = Speed*time

x+600 = 25*(56) = 1400

x = 1400 – 600 = 800m

Find the distance covered by a boat in 30 mins during downstream, if its speed in still water is 7 kmph and speed of the stream is 5 kmph ?

**Solution:**

3 men and 2 women can complete a work in 12 days

If persons are doubled, Days will be halved

Hence 6 men and 4 women can complete the work in 12/2 = 6 days

So the answer is option C.

Find the speed of a train of length 600m, which crossed a man standing on the platform in 24 seconds ?

Speed = distance/time = 600/24 = 25 m/s = 25*(18/5) = 5*18 = 90 kmph
