Stenographer Grade C: 18 to 30 years as on 01.01.2020
Stenographer Grade D: 18 to 27 years as on 01.01.2020

Online Examination
Skill Test
The exam is conducted in Computer Based Mode. The exam is conducted in English and Hindi languages.
SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern 2019-20:
SSC Steno Computer-based Test is an objective type test consisting of 200 questions, 200 Marks divided into 3 different sections. The maximum time duration for the exam is 2 hours and 40 minutes.

SSC STENOGRAPHER PREVIOUS PAPERS
SSC Skill Test in Stenography:
The candidates who are shortlisted in the Computer Based Examination for the next stage will have to appear for the Skill Test in Stenography. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as opted by the candidates in the online Application Form) at the speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade C and 80 w.p.mfor the post of Stenographer Grade D.
