SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018 – Exam Dates, Vacancies, Exam Pattern & Admit Card Details
Staff Selection Commission has released notification to conduct open exam for Constable Posts. There are around 54953 (Male-47307, Female-7646) GD vacancies in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, SSF, and Riffle men in Assam Riffles. The Online application form is open from 17th Aug 2018 and the last date to apply is on 30th Sep 2018. Candidates aged between 18-23 yrs are eligible to apply for this post.

The total number of vacancies announced are 54953. In which 47307 for males and 7646 for females. The Pay scale for SSC GD varies from Rs. 21700/- – Rs.69100/-.

SSC GD Constable 2018 Selection process:
The recruitment process is done in 4 levels. The candidates must clear every level with excellent scores to get recruited.
Level 1: Computer Based Examination
Level 2: Physical Efficiency Test
Level 3: Physical Standard Test
Level 4: Medical Examination
The exam is conducted in Computer Based Mode. The exam is conducted in English and Hindi languages. The candidates clearing computer based test in merit will be eligible for further rounds.

SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern 2019:
SSC GD Computer-based Test is an objective type test consisting of 100 questions divided into 4 different sections. The max time duration for the exam is 90 mins.

SSC GD Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for the SSC GD Constable exam must be in the age limit of 18-23 yrs as on 1st Aug 2018. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and EX-servicemen.
Citizen: Candidates appearing for the exam must be Indian.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th or Matriculation from a recognized Board/University.
