SSC CHSL Exam notification is released for the recruitment notification for the posts for LDC – Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

SSC CHSL Tier-2 Exam pattern Details:
- Descriptive Paper – 100 marks (Pen and Paper)
- You can write whole paper either in English or Hindi but not both
- Exam Duration one hour*
- Essay Writing (200-250 Words)
- Letter Writing (150-200 Words)
- Qualifying marks in Tier-II exam (33% of total marks)
SSC CHSL Tier-3 Exam pattern – Details:
Skill Test/Typing Test
Skill Test for Data Entry Operator:
- Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer.
- Printed matter in English containing about 2000-2200 key-depressions would be
given to each candidate - English Typing and exam duration will be 15 minutes
- Qualifying exam.
- The test will be evaluated based on correct entries.
Typing Test for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant LDCs and Court Clerks:
- Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi (As you mentioned in the Application form)
- The exam is qualifying in nature.
- Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m) and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute.
