Selection Criteria and Admission Procedure for SNAP 2021
Admission through SNAP includes Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). SNAP selection procedure is likely to begin in the second week of February 2021 and end in the fourth week of the same month. The schedule of GE-PI-WAT will be announced later.
The final marks of each candidate in the SIU selection procedure are calculated based on their performance on the following parameters:

Group Exercise
The Group Exercise (GE) round is divided into two parts. In the first phase, each group is assigned a task to solve in a set amount of time. The goal of this activity is to see how well the candidates can coordinate and strategize as a group. The key to success in this exercise is to demonstrate leadership and teamwork.
The second phase of the GE is a group discussion, in which the candidates are separated into groups and given a different topic to debate over. They are allowed five minutes to consider points pertaining to the topic before the floor is opened for debate. Candidates are evaluated in this round based on their communication skills, clarity of thinking, and ability to persuade others.

Personal Interview
SIU’s Personal Interview (PI) is similar to those of other institutes in that candidates are asked about themselves and their future aspirations. ‘Why MBA?’ is one of the most frequently requested questions. In this round, evaluate the candidate’s communication and problem-solving abilities.
Written Ability Test
This round is an essay writing test in which candidates must write a brief essay on the topic provided. Candidates are occasionally given a video to watch and create a narrative around. This round is designed to assess the candidates’ analytical and interpretative abilities.
