(A) : x and =, 2 and 9
$\equiv8=2+9\times74$
R.H.S. $=666+2=668\neq$ L.H.S.
(B) : x and +, 8 and 2
$\equiv2+9\times8=74$
L.H.S. $=2+72=74=$ R.H.S.
