  • Syllogisms: In the prelims phase, the likelihood of a new pattern-based Syllogism question is lower; however, make sure you understand the strategy to addressing these questions.
  • Blood relations: It is undoubtedly one of the easiest topics in the reasoning part, and if adequately prepared, it can easily earn you 3-4 marks. Practice both direct and coded questions on this topic.

IBPS RRB PO 2021 Exam Preparation Important Tips

Let us now look at some general exam preparation tips that you should never forget.

  • Proper Time Table: Maintain a reasonable timetable. Create a study plan for yourself, ensuring that you finish all of the basic concepts of various topics on time and have enough time to take mock tests. Maintain strict adherence to your timetable and ensure that you make up for any missed deadlines.
  • Regularity in Studies: Do not put off until exam day. Do what you can do today. As we have repeatedly stated, you will not be able to qualify for this prelims exam with only 1-2 weeks of preparation. If you want to clear the prelims, you must put forth consistent effort.
  • Mock Tests: Mock tests are required. You must take online mock tests if you want to attempt questions in the exam, such as the interface and have a smooth transition between sections of the exam. Mock tests will also aid in the reduction of exam anxiety.
  • Efficient Time Management: This is the most important factor in passing this exam. In the prelims exam, you will have 45 minutes to complete the above two sections. So, divide this time equally between the two sections or according to your level of comfort in them.
  • Time-Bound Practice: While practising questions, try to complete the questions/mock tests within the time limit you’ve set for these two sections.
  • Self Analysis: Keep track of your progress. Analyze your performance in the online tests and continue to work on your weaker sections simultaneously.
  • Define your Goals/Targets: Set a goal for yourself. Set a minimum number of question attempts for yourself and strive to meet it regularly.
