The direction of the person with respect to the starting point is south-east.

The person is towards east with respect to the starting point.

From the above diagram, we can say that the person is facing towards East.

From the above diagram, we can say that the person is facing towards West.

From the above figure, we can say that the person is now facing South.

From the above diagram, it is clear that he started travelling towards east from his home.

From the above diagram, Point D is in South-East of Point A.

Shortest distance between home and office $= \sqrt{9^{2}+12^{2}} = \sqrt{81+144} = \sqrt{225} = 15$

Nikhil faces East finally after turning back.

Hence, option A is the correct answer.

As per the given question,

Finally, Rohit is facing South.

Hence, option A is the correct answer.

The mall is 250 meters north-west of the market. The school is 250 meters south-west of the market.

=> Ans – (B)

Starting from 9 and moving clockwise direction, the pattern followed is :

$(9\times2)-1=17$

$(17\times2)-1=33$

$(33\times2)-1=65$

=> Ans – (B)

Let I start from point A and head north for 200 m, then turned right towards east and reached C after walking 100 m. Finally turned left towards north and stopped at point D after walking 300 m.

Thus, I started my journey in North direction.

=> Ans – (C)

The pattern followed is that starting from top right and moving in clockwise direction, each number is multiplied by 3 and then 1 is added.

$(6\times3)+1=19$

$(19\times3)+1=58$

$(58\times3)+1=175$

=> Ans – (C)

A don’t have B and E as his neighbours, => A is sitting between C and D

E, who is not sitting with D is to the immediate left of B.

=> C sits to the immediate left of E and B to the immediate left of D.

$\therefore$ When seen in clockwise direction, correct sitting order : ADBEC

=> Ans – (B)

Starting from 1 and moving in clockwise direction, consecutive natural numbers are multiplied.

1 $\times1$ = 1

1 $\times2$ = 2

2 $\times3$ = 6

6 $\times4$ = 24

24 $\times5$ = 120

120 $\times6$ = 720

720 $\times7$ = 5040

=> Ans – (D)

Let Suman starts from point A and walks 15 km towards north to reach B. She then turns right and walks another 15 km to reach C. From there, she turns right again and walks another 15 km southwards to finally reach D.

$\therefore$ She is 15 km to the east of her starting point.

=> Ans – (C)

Starting from 2, and moving in clockwise direction, the pattern followed is :

2 + 3 = 5

5 + 4 = 9

9 + 5 = 14

14 + 6 = 20

20 + 7 = 27

=> Ans – (B)
