carefully and answer the questions given below it.

The total number of employees working in company IV is what per cent of the total number of employees working in company V ?
Solution
Number of employees working in various departments of company IV (in '00)
= 10 + 25 + 32 + 29 + 21 = 117
Number of employees working in various departments of company V (in '00)
= 11 + 31 + 14 + 36 + 18 = 110
=> Required % = $$\frac{117}{110} \times 100$$
= $$106.36 \% \approx 106 \%$$
