Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National level Entrance Examination for admission to Management Programs in the country. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the CMAT-2021 exam. CMAT is an MCQ based online test. The exam is a gateway to more than 1000 MBA colleges in India. The CMAT score is accepted by all the AICTE- Approved Institutions / University Departments / Constituent Colleges /Affiliated Colleges. In this article, we will be looking at some top colleges accepting the CMAT 2021 Scores along with their expected cut-off.

As per the official notification (on Feb 12, 2021) The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2021. The exam is expected to be held on 8 May 2021. The exam will now have an additional (optional) section for candidates interested in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This additional section will have 25 questions and an additional time of 30 minutes will be added to the exam.
In view of this postponement, NTA has also extended the registration window. Interested candidates can now apply for CMAT 2021 up to March 1st. The last date to pay the exam fee is March 2nd, 2021.

Total Duration: 3 hrs Plus Additional 30 mins for the Innovation &Entrepreneurship section.

Please note that cut-off vs percentile varies from year to year depending on the number of candidates taking the exam, difficulty level of the paper etc. The candidate with 347 marks has been awarded 100%ile in 2020, as compared to a score of 372 for 100%ile in 2019. And the CMAT score for 99 to 99.99%ile in 2020 was in the range of 282-342, as compared to 310-361 marks in 2019.
The admission process based on CMAT 2021 score for MBA/PGDM 2021-23 batch is open in the top MBA colleges accepting CMAT scores. Many top colleges will be closing their last date shortly. Candidates are advised to check the official websites of the respective colleges and apply before the deadlines. The CMAT cut-offs in these MBA colleges will vary from institute to institute.

After the declaration of CMAT scores, the participating B-schools will be conducting the further selection rounds which include Group Discussion/Written Ability Test, Personal Interview. The final selection of a candidate depends upon their performance in the CMAT exam as well as in the GD / PI and WAT rounds.
