Most of the aspirants are working professionals and students who were in the final year of their graduation. So, it is hard to prepare for the CAT exam if they didn’t have a perfect study timetable. Time is required to prepare for CAT for an average student

A minimum of 6 months are required to prepare for CAT. An average student can definitely crack the CAT exam with a strong study timetable and following the below points.

  • Target the basics of all the sections.
  • Should not neglect the weekends for the preparation, spend as much time at the weekends
  • Give more mocks and analyze them thoroughly. Focus more on your weak areas.
  • Try to solve maintain balanced speed and accuracy while taking the mocks.

Try to focus on reading for 1 hour every day. It will help you to develop a viewpoint on a variety of issues. In the initial days of your preparation, solve at least one RC every day. Daily routine / Time Table while preparing for CAT

The daily routine depends on whether you are a college student, a working professional or you have taken a drop. The following is a broad schedule you can follow. You can customize the schedule.

The daily routine from Monday to Saturday:

  • Watch the concept videos. Spend around 2-3 hours on understanding your weak areas.

  • Reading regularly, read what you like (can be your favourite novels also)- 30 minutes to 1 hour daily.

  • Reading diverse articles- 30 minutes.

  • Solving puzzles like sudoku and doing basic mental math calculations- 30 minutes

  • Sunday: Take concept tests (to test yourself on the concepts learned during the week)
  • Overall try to allocate around 2-3 hours for preparation during the weekdays and more time on weekends.
  • Customize your schedule that balance all three sections. And make sure to allocate more time to work on weak areas. So, This is the best time to start preparing for CAT 2022.
