Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the post of Stenographer Grade-C and Grade-D. Registration of online application form for SSC Stenographer Grade-C and grade-D starts from 22nd October and ends on 19th November, and the exam is going to be held from 5th to 7th in the month of May 2020.

The stenographer online exam will be conducted in two stages, first one is a computer-based test and second on skill test. In stage one, MCQ questions will be coming. The eligibility criteria for the stenographer post is, one need to have good skills in stenography and also have passed 12th standard. SSC Stenographer Salary Increment After 7th Pay Commission

Stenographer Grade C:

Stenographer Grade C is Group-B post with grade pay of 4200/4600GP. 

Total Salary = Basic pay (44900)+HRA+TA+DA+DA on TA+others.

After all allowance and deductions salary in hand will be around 57300 for Grade-C in X-Cities.

Stenographer Grade D:

Stenographer Grade D is a Group-C post with grade pay of 2400 GP.

Total Salary = Basic pay (25500) +HRA+TA+others

After all, allowances and dedication salary in hand will be around 34,500 for Grade-D in X-cities.

 SSC Stenographer Salary and Allowances For Group-C and Group-D

SSC Stenographers for Group-C and Group-D post are recruited by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in different offices and departments under the Government of India. The Group-C stenographers will be appointed in different departments of the central government in Delhi and Group-D will be posted in different central government offices across India.
