RBI grade B exam analysis – Phase 1:
General awareness section:
The general awareness section can be considered moderate to difficult in level of difficulty. Most of the questions were based on current affairs. Also, the time period across which the current affair questions were asked spanned more than 6 months. The weightage of static awareness part has dwindled as compared to the previous years. There were close to 20 questions from the topics pertaining to banking awareness. There were a few questions asking the candidate to identify the act based on its provisions or to identify the scope of a provision.

Reasoning ability:
We can classify the reasoning section to be moderate to difficult in the level of difficulty. Puzzles accounted for close to 25 marks. The exam had 5 puzzles of various types like linear arrangement, arrangement in a box etc. The puzzles were of moderate difficulty. The remaining 35 questions were from topics like syllogisms, data sufficiency, blood relations, direction sense and statement -conclusions.

Quantitative aptitude section:
The quants section was considered to be moderately difficult. One of the three DI sets was difficult and the other 2 were doable.
