Number of people who took CAT 2021
CAT 2021 was conducted in 438 test centres across 156 cities in India on 28 November 2021 across three slots:
Slot 1: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Slot 2: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Slot 3: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
The response sheet and official answer key are expected to be out on the first week of December 2021, whereas the percentiles are expected to be released on the first week of January 2022.
According to an official media release, approximately 1.92 lakh candidates appeared for the examination out of 2.30 lakh registered eligible candidates. The overall attendance was approximately 83%.

According to the official media release of CAT, out of the 1.92 lakh candidates who had taken the exam, 35% were females, 65% were males and 2 candidates represent the transgender community.
