IBPS has announced the notification for the post of probationary officers in Public Sector Banks. The online application starts from August 7th to 28th, 2019. IBPS has defined the sections that will come in prelims and mains exam. However, there is no specified official syllabus for IBPS PO Examination 2019. Based on the previous year papers analysis, the important subjects and topics are listed in this article.
In IBPS PO 2019 Prelims exam, there will be sectional timing for each section. It is mandatory to clear sectional cut off for move to mains exam. There will be negative marking of 1/4 for each and every wrong answer.

Latest Changes In IBPS PO 2019 Mains Exam:
- Know mains examination will have total 157 questions instead of 200 Questions
- Total time duration of the exam along with the descriptive paper has been increased to 3 Hr 30 Minutes
- Quantitative aptitude is replaced to Data Interpretation and analysis
- Computer aptitude paper has been merged with reasoning section. Hence there will be no separate paper for Computer section.
 IBPS PO 2019 Prelims Syllabus:
Prelims will have total 100 multiple choice questions Qualitative, Reasoning and English. The prelims exam test is only for screening test of the candidate and this marks not considered in final selection.
