The Indian Coast Guard has issued a recruitment notification from Indian male candidates for various branches as an Assistant Commandant in General Duty and General Duty in Pilot Category.
Branch and Eligibility:
Indian citizens having following minimum qualifications are eligible to apply

(ii) XII with 60% aggregate in mathematics and physics |

Note :
I. The upper age limit of OBC/SC & ST is relaxable as per Govt. of India rules in vogue.
II.   Maximum 5% relaxation in aggregate in the degree certificate for SC/ST candidates, NCC ’C’ (A grade) holders, Sportsperson of the National level (Inter-State & above) and wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service. No relaxation for 12th class marks.
III. Coast Guard reserves the right to fix the cut off percentage for issue of PSB call-up letters

 Selection Process:
Short listing of the applications: There will be shortlisting of applications based on Marks obtained by the candidates in Minimum Qualification.
Preliminary examination: Â Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Preliminary Exam which consists the subjects like Mental Ability, Quantitative Aptitude. This Paper will be in English only.
Second Stage Examination: Â Only candidates those qualified in the Preliminary exam will be called for Second Stage Exam.This stage includes Psychological test, Group Discussion, Personal Interview.
Medical: Â Candidates who all have been cleared the all process of the above recruitment will be called for the medical exam.

Medical Standards: Â
Height: Â for Assistant Commandant There should be Minimum Height 157 cms, for assistant commandant (Pilot) minimum 162.5 with leg length minimum 99 cms.
Weight: Â As per height and age, +/- 10 kgs Acceptable
Chest: Should well Proportionate with Minimum of 5 centimeters Expansion
Eye Sight:
Assistant Commandant (GD):Â 6/6,6/9 Â without Glasses
Assistant Commandant (Pilot): 6/6Â in one eye and 6/9 in another eye without Glasses
