Radius of sphere, $r=7$ cm

Surface area of sphere = $4\pi r^2$

= $4\times\frac{22}{7}\times(7)^2$

= $88\times7=616$ $cm^2$

=> Ans – (A)

2) Answer (B)

Height of cylinder, $h=6$ cm and radius, $r=\frac{7}{2}=3.5$ cm

Total surface area of cylinder = $2\pi r(r+h)$

= $2\times\frac{22}{7}\times\frac{7}{2}\times(3.5+6)$

= $22\times9.5=209$ $cm^2$

=> Ans – (B)

Let radius of circle = $r$ cm

=> Circumference = $2\pi r=88$

=> $2\times\frac{22}{7}\times r=88$

=> $r=88\times\frac{7}{44}$

=> $r=2\times7=14$ cm

= $\frac{22}{7}\times(14)^2$

Let radius of semi circle = $r$ cm

=> Perimeter of semi circle = $\pi r+2r=108$

Let the radius of hemisphere = $r$ cm

=> Total surface area = $3\pi r^2=462$
