SBI PO 2020 Prelims Exam Pattern:
The first stage in the selection process is the preliminary exam, candidates have to qualify the prelims to get selected to the next rounds. Prelims exams is an Objective Based Online exam total duration for the exam is 60 minutes. 0.25 Negative marks for every wrong answer.

SBI PO Mains Syllabus 2020:
SBI PO Mains 2020 Exam Pattern:
The second stage is the mains exam which has two parts one is the objective test and one descriptive test. The objective test has 4 sections 155 questions with a total of 200 marks and total time duration is 3 hours. Negative marking 1/4th of allotted marks for each question. Candidates clearing the mains exam will be called for Group discussion and personal interview.

SBI PO Mains Descriptive Test:
- Descriptive Paper – 50 marks (Computer-based)
- Time Duration: 30 minutes
The descriptive exam is conducted in Online mode. Candidates need to write a letter and an essay in the descriptive paper.
SBI PO Group Exercise and Interview:
- Group Exercise – 20 Marks
- Interview – 30 Marks
- Need to qualify with the passing marks in this section as will be specified by the bank.
- Candidates clearing the interview process will be called out for Document verification.
SBI PO 2020 Final Selection process:
- The prelims score will not be considered for final selection, as prelims is only used to shortlist candidates for mains.
- The SBI PO mains exam, descriptive test will be added to Group exercises (GE) and Interview.
- The Candidates will have to qualify both in Mains and Interview.
- SBI will prepare a merit list based on the scores of the candidate out of 100.
