a) 194

b) 174

c) 170

d) 185

e) Other than those given as options

Let the number be x.
1/5th of number = 81
x/5 = 81
x=405
68% of 405 = 0.68*405 = 275.4
Hence, the correct option is B.

Let the numerator be x and denominator be y.
Numerator is increased by 200% and denominator is increased by 300%, the fraction becomes (3x/4y)
But the fraction is $\frac{15}{26}$
(3x/4y) = $\frac{15}{26}$
Hence, (x/y) = 10/13
Option D is correct.

Let there be three groups of 25 girls each having averages a, b and c.
25a+25b+25c=1050
a+b+c=42
Now, a = 12 and b = 16
hence, c = 14
Therefore average age of remaining 25 girls = c = 14 years.
Hence, option C is correct option.

Let x be monthly salary of Deepti Jain.
11%of x = 5,236.
x= 47600

Now total investment by Deepti Jain = Investment in Fixed Deposit + Investment in Mutual Funds + Investment in Insurance policies
= 19%+11%+7% = 37% of Salary = 37% of 47600
= 17,612

Total amount for 12 month = 12*17612 =2,11,344

Number of sweets received by one student = 20% of total students =20% of 400 = 8

Number of sweets received by one teacher = 25% of total students =25% of 400 = 10

Total sweets distributed = Sweets received by students + Sweets received by teachers = 40*8+8*10 = 320+80 = 400

Hence, correct answer is option B.

She still has 32% in cash which means she has spent 68%.
Let the total amount with her be x.
.68x = 44620 + 32764 = 77384
x=113800
The total amount she will be having is 1,13,800.

Let Manas salary be x.
(2/3)rd of 12% of x = 2240
2/25 of x = 2240
x = 28000
Hence, Manas salary is 28000.

Average of the given scores can be calculated as

$\frac{48+47+64+91+72+68+93}{7}$ = $\frac{483}{7}$ = 69

The average weight of 15 girls is 54 kgs.
Therefore, total weight = 810
Now, after adding teachers weight the average increase to 56 kgs
Let teachers weight be x.
(810+x)/16 = 56
x= 86
The teachers weight is 86 kgs.

The correct option is option D.

Average of all the scores = $\frac{Sum of all the scores}{Number of scores}$
=$\frac{152 + 635 + 121 + 423 + 632 + 744 + 365 + 253 + 302}{9}$
= 403
Option A is the correct answer.

Let the number be x.
15% of x + 10% of x = 70
25% of x = 70
x = 70*4
x = 280
Now, twice of 280 = 280*2 = 560
The correct option is option C.

Now, let the mark scored by Vikram be x in Science.
Hence, $\frac{x+80+70+65+76}{5}$ = 72
x+291 = 360
x = 69
Vikram scored 69 marks in Science. Therefore, the correct option is option B.

The difference between the aggregate mark required to pass and mark scored by Priya = 975 – 870 = 105
Now, 7% of x = 105
0.07*x = 105
x = 1500
Hence, the maximum aggregate mark that can be scored are 1500
The correct option is option A.

Let A = x
B= x+1
C= x+2
D=x+3
Now, average = 56.5
(A+B+C+D)/4 = 56.5
4x +6 = 56.5*4
4x +6 = 226
4x = 220
x = 55
Therefore A,B,C and D are 55,56,57 and 58 respectively.
Product of A and C = 55*57 = 3135

The total percentage of her salary that Sujata invested is 7% + 18% + 6% = 31%

7% of her salary is Rs. 2170.
So, 31% of her salary is 2170/7 * 31 = 9610

So, Sujata invests Rs. 9610 every month i.e 9610*12 = 115320

$\frac{2}{5} \times 2500 = 1000$
So, 40% of 1000 = 400
30% of 400 = 120

As, A is the smallest even number of the four,
B = A+2
C = B+2 = A+4
D = C+2 = A+6

Hence, their sum is A + (A+2) + (A+4) + (A+6) = 4A + 12
And their average is (4A+12)/4 = A + 3
This equals 65.
So, A = 62 and D = A+6 = 68

Their product equals 62*68 = 4216

Let the five numbers be A,B,C,D and E.
So, A+B+C+D+E = 555
A+B = 75*2 = 150
C = 115
Hence, D+E = 555-150-115 = 290 and their average equals 145

Average of all 20 matches = {Total runs scored in the first 18 matches + Runs scored in 19th match + Runs scored in 20th matches}$\div${20}
= ${(18*56.5 + 101 + 123)}\div{20}$
= 62.05
