This year also SBI has released a notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officer. The Total vacancies for SBI PO 2020 are 2000. SBI PO 2020 Selection Pattern:
The selection for SBI PO will be done through Three Tier Process which includes Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination and Group Discussion / Interview. The candidates who qualified in the preliminary exam will be called for the mains exam. The candidates who qualified in mains exam will be called for final round i.e. interview.
Every year the SBI PO cut off marks are increasing due to the high competition. The candidates who got selected in the Interview will be posted as Probationary Officers for the period of two years on a probation period. After successful completion of the probation period, these candidates will be confirmed in the service of the bank in Junior Management Grade Scale – 1 (JMGS – 1).
SBI PO 2020 Pay Scale:
The starting Basic Pay as per the official notification of SBI PO 2020 is Rs. 27,620/- (with 4 Advance Increments) in the Pay Scale of 23700- 980/7- 30560- 1145/2- 32850- 1310/7- 42020Â which is applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale – 1.
The Probationary Officers will also be entitled to get different allowances like Dearness Allowances (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) /Â Lease Rental, City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Medical & Other allowances and Perquisites. As per the official notification, the emoluments are going to be revised shortly.
The approximate take home Salary for SBI POÂ will lie between Rs. 42,000/- to Rs. 45,000/- after deductions.
