G20 purpose is to bring together systemically important industralized and developing economies to discuss key issues in the global economy.
The G20 has been formed in 1999.
G20 Summit is an annual summit of Heads of Governments or States.
The first G20 Summit has taken place in 2008.
G20 Summit 2017 took place at Hamburg, Germany.
G20 Summit 2018 is taking place at Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Current Chairman of G20 is Argentina.
G20 Summit 2019 will take place at Osaka, Japan.
G7:
G7 is an intergovernmental political forum of governments from 7 countries.It comprises the most advanced 7 Economies of the world.

Important Points About G7:
Priorily G6 was formed in 1975. With the addition of Canada in 1976 it was called G7.So the G7 has been formed in 1976.
G7 came to be known as the G8 from 1997 until 2014 due to addition of Russia. But Russia was suspended indefinitely in 2014 from G8 following the annexation of Crimea.In 2017, Russia has withdrawn its membership permanently from the group.
G7 Summit is an annual summit of Heads of Governments or States.European Union is also represented at the G7 summit.
The first G7 Summit has taken place in 1976
G7 Summit 2017 took place at Italy.
G7 Summit 2018 took place at Canada. Current Chairman of G7 is Canada.
G7 Summit 2019 will take place at France.
G4:
Group of 4 nations is formed to support each other bids to the permanent seat of the United Nations Security Council.UK,US,France,Russia,China (Victors of World War 2) are the permanent members of the UNSC.
G4 Countries List:

Important Points About G4:
These countries have served as the non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 64 years collectively.Japan & Brazil served 5 terms each while Germany & India served 4 terms each.
Opposing G4’s claim to the permanent seat a group was formed under Italy called Coffee Club.
Uk & France supported the G4’s bid to the Permanent seat.All the Permanent members of the UNSC except China has supported the India’s bid. China has asked India to disassociate itself from the bid of Japan to get the support of it.
