SP Jain Admission Process 2024
Getting into the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program at SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) is based on merit. They evaluate applicants’ profiles and require meeting minimum qualifying scores in either the CAT or GMAT entrance exams. The admission process has two phases: Profile-based and Profile cum Score-based evaluations.
In detail, let us look at each phase in the PGDM admission process at SP Jain Institute.
Phase-1: Profile Based
During phase 1, candidates will be selected for further evaluation based on their profile, taking into account the following factors.
- Consistency of academic record
- Relevance of work experience for the specialisation chosen
- Versatility and achievements
In the case of the profile-based selection process, the candidates must meet the minimum cut-off of the entrance exams (CAT or GMAT).
Phase 2: Profile Cum Score Based
In this phase, candidates will be chosen for interviews based on their profiles and performance in the entrance exams. The first round of interviews for the PGDM program will be conducted online on a platform chosen by the institute. The second round of interviews will be conducted in person, and it is mandatory for candidates to attend the second round.
Final Selection List
The merit list will be prepared by calculating a composite score that takes into account different factors, including the candidates’ profile, academic record, entrance exam performance, work experience, and performance in both rounds of interviews.
