SBI PO 2019 Syllabus and Exam Pattern:
State Bank Of India (SBI) conducts online exam to recruit candidates for the post of Probationary Officers (SBI PO) for its various branches throughout the country. Every year SBI releases a good number of vacancies for this post as it is one of the most desired competitive exams for people looking for a job in banking sector. The official notification for 2019 recruitment is as expected was released for 2000 Vacancies. Exam pattern and Syllabus for SBI PO 2019 is same as the previous year.

Selection procedure for SBI PO 2019 consists of the following levels:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Group Discussion and Interview

Get 105 SBI PO Mocks for Rs. 249
The first stage is the preliminary exam, candidates have to qualify the prelims to get selected to the next rounds. The second stage is the mains exam which has one objective test and one descriptive test. Candidates need to write a letter and an essay in the descriptive test. Candidates clearing the mains exam will be called for Group discussion and personal interview. Candidates clearing the interview process will be called out for Document verification.
SBI PO 2019 Prelims Exam Pattern:
- Objective Based Online exam – 60 minutes
- Negative marks – 0.25 marks
- Each section will have a sectional time limit of 20 minutes.

Online Computer Awareness Tests for Bank exams
SBI PO Mains Descriptive Test Stage-II:
- Descriptive Paper – 50 marks (Computer-based)
- Time Duration: 30 minutes
The descriptive exam is conducted in Online mode. Candidates need to write a letter and an essay in the descriptive paper.
SBI PO Group Exercise and Interview Stage-III:
- Group Exercise – 20 Marks
- Interview – 30 Marks
- Need to qualify with the passing marks in this section as will be specified by the bank.
SBI PO 2019 Final Selection process:
- The prelims score will not be considered, as prelims is only used to shortlist for mains.
- The SBI PO mains exam, descriptive test (stage-II) will be added to Group exercises (GE) and Interview (stage-III).
- The Candidates will have to qualify both in stage-II and stage-III.
- The written test (stage-II) of 250 marks will be converted to 75 marks and stage-III marks will be converted to 25 marks.
- SBI will prepare a merit list based on the scores of the candidate out of 100. SBI will shortlist the candidates based on their scores and category.
