IIM Shortlist 2020
CAT 2019 result is out and IIM have already started sending the shortlist out. The shortlisted candidates are required to visit the website and download the call letter for the PI (Personal Interview) and WAT (Written Ability Test) attend further rounds of the respective IIMs. This list is released based on the shortlisting criteria of each of the IIMs.

IIM Visakhapatnam Shortlist Update:
- Candidates who are shortlisted and interviewed by any one of the IIMs at Bangalore, Calcutta, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Indore (only for their PGP/PGPM programs), are not required to appear for the personal interview of IIMV.
- The average of their Personal Interview (PI) / Written Ability Test (WAT) scores from the above IIMs will be used to derive their PI/WAT scores for IIMV.
- Candidates who are NOT shortlisted and interviewed by any of the IIMs at Bangalore, Calcutta, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Indore (only for their PGP/PGPM programs) will be required to appear for a Personal Interview (PI) / Written Ability Test (WAT) to be conducted by IIMV.
IIM Shortlisting/Selection Procedure
- These shortlisted candidates obtain a composite score in stage-1 through various weighted parameters of CAT score, academics, work-ex, and diversity points(academic and gender).
- Each category(GM-OBC-EWS-ST) has a unique composite score cut-off based on the number of students called for an interview.
- Students clearing the composite score will be eligible for stage-2 where GD-WAT-PI rounds are conducted.
- A final composite score in this round based on various factors as determined by the institute will be used to determine the final selection of candidates. Students who clear the final composite score will be given offer letter by college, they can either accept or reject the offer.
- In both rounds, the composite score cut-off is different for male-female across caste categories.
