NMAT 2023 Exam Notification Released: Exam Pattern, Important Dates, Registration process & Top B Schools Accepting NMAT Scores
NMAT, which is a short form of NMIMS Management Aptitude Test, is an entrance exam for doing an MBA at around 40 MBA institutes in India that consider the NMAT scores for admissions. The official notification of the NAMT 2023 has been released on their official website. The NMAT Exam will be held from October 10 to December 19, 2023. So, the candidates can take the NMAT exam on these dates. The registration for the NMAT exam started on August 1st. Please note that exam slots at both test centres and online are limited and are available on first-come-first-served basis only. In addition, the exam delivered online will only be available on certain dates with limited capacity within the testing period. We recommend that you schedule your exam.
NMAT 2023 Latest Exam Pattern
NMAT 2023 exam will be an Online Objective Type Test. And the exam duration is 120 minutes(2 Hours). There is no negative marking. The candidate will have the choice to select the sequence of the test sections, but there is no possibility of moving back & forth between sections.

NMAT 2023 Registration Process
The registration process for the NMAT 2023 exam is as follows
- Create an account for NMAT by GMACâ„¢ by filling your details in the form, including your valid email address. Then a verification mail will be received to your given email id and make the verification process.
- Fill out all the required fields like contact information, personal, educational and work experience, the list of programmes to send scores, and the ID you will use for identification on the exam day.
- Your name and date of birth on the registration form must match the name and date of birth on your Photo and Signature ID.
- Select the schools to send your NMAT scores under the “Schools Preference” section.
- Test Registration: INR 2800 + applicable taxes
- Retake: INR 2800 + applicable taxes
- Up to 5 programmes are included in your registration fee. An additional fee of INR 300 + applicable taxes will be applied for each programme added in excess of 5 programs.
- Upload the photograph on your Photo ID. This photograph will be included on the admit card that you must show to the test centre administrator at the test centre or to the online proctor.
- Make the Payment of the exam fee. Once the payment is made successfully, then you will be able to schedule your exam. You can book any slot after 24 hours from the time of booking.
- Select the exam mode, whether you want to take the exam at the Test Centre or Online Proctored at Home.

How Many Times We Can Take NMAT Exam?
One can take the NMAT by GMACâ„¢ exam up to a maximum of 3 times (first attempt plus 2 retake attempts), including no shows if he/she wishes to. There is a mandatory gap of 15 days between two attempts hence early scheduling of the exam enables the test taker to plan the retakes within the testing window to improve the score.
