Application Fees of NIFT Recruitment 2018:
- SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates and employees of NIFT (both regular and contract) are exempted from payment of application fee.
- The other candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs.1000/- through online payment.
Educational Qualification & Experience of NIFT Recruitment 2018:
Post Graduate programme with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in relevant areas as per Annexure-I from the Institutes of National and International repute with 03 years of post-qualification experience in teaching and/or research at university/national and international level institutions in the relevant areas/or in relevant industry.
OR
Doctoral Degree in the areas as mentioned in Annexure-I with post qualification experience of one year in industry or teaching or research in an Institute or University of National and International repute in the relevant areas.

Age relaxation to NIFT employees: Maximum age relaxation of 5 years is allowed in case of NIFT employees and deserving candidates possessing higher qualifications/experience.
Selection Process of NIFT Recruitment 2018:
a)Written Test
b)Interview
i) Comprehensive Test (Written Examination):
Part I (maximum 50 marks) – General Ability, Communication Ability, General Awareness, Analytical Ability, Test of Reasoning, Data Interpretation.
Part II (maximum 50 marks) – Professional Aptitude (in concerned competency)
ii) The eligible candidates shortlisted by the Screening Committee based on their performance in written test shall be called for presentation/classroom lecture/demonstration before a group of faculty on a topic given an hour earlier. They will also have to appear for interview before the Selection Committee.
iii) Marks obtained in Part I (written test) shall be qualifying marks for evaluation of Part-II. Part-II (written test) shall be evaluated only in respect of those candidates who have secured minimum cut off marks as decided by the Competent Authority in Part-I. Marks obtained in Part-II shall carry a weightage of 30% to be considered by the Selection Committee in addition to the performance of the candidate in presentation/class room lecture/demonstration (30%) and in the interview (40%). The comparative weightage for written test (Part II), presentation (class room) and interview will thus be 30%, 30% and 40% respectively.
