Age relaxation for SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, and for ex-servicemen, CISF Personnel and jammu & kashmir applicants please check the notification.

CISF Selection process:
- Physical Standards Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Written Examination and Medical Examination
The candidates who qualified in PST and PET can be only called for written exam. The written exam is bilingual. (Hindi/English)
The final selection of the CISF 2017 will be according to the merit list considering category and vacancy of the each state.

CISF 2017 PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST Eligibility:
The height will be tested and lesser height (than specified will be eliminated)
The candidates have to run of 05 Kms in 24 minutes. (PET will not be held for Ex-Servicemen)
PHYSICAL STANDARDS TEST:
Will be checked for height, chest and weight physical standards
