The last year (2018) posts for which notification was released were LDC – Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

SSC CHSL Stands for SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (It is for 10+2 completed people)

  • You can write whole paper either in English or Hindi but not both

SSC CHSL Tier-3 Exam pattern – Details:

Skill Test/Typing Test

Skill Test for Data Entry Operator:

  • Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer.
  • English Typing and exam duration will be 15 minutes
  • Qualifying exam

Typing Test for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant LDCs and Court Clerks:

  • Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi (As you mentioned in the Application form)
  • Qualifying exam
  • Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m) and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute.

  • Application fee for SSC CHSL exam is 100 rupees.
  • No fee for SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen

Eligibility for SSC CHSL (10+2) Exam

1.Indian Citizen

2.18-27 years as on 1.8.2018 (Candidates born not before 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2000). Minimum age is 18 years and Max. age is 27 years.
