Commissioner, Panchayat and Rural Development Assam has released a Notification of 1324 Vacancies for Gram Panchayat Coordinator & Other Posts. TheMinistry of Rural Development, a branch of the Government of India, is entrusted with the task of accelerating the socio-economic development of rural India. Its focus is on health, education, drinking water, housing, and roads. On 5 July 2016, during the second cabinet reshuffle of the Narendra Modi ministry, Narendra Singh Tomar replaced Chaudhary Birender Singh as the Minister of Rural Development.
