Educational Qualifications for ISRO – SHAR Recruitment:

Scientist/Engineer “SC” (Chemical Engineering): B.E/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale.

Scientist/Engineer “SC” (Quality Engineering and Management): M.E/M.Tech or equivalent Post graduate degree in Quality Engineering & Management in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale.

Scientist/Engineer “SC” (Thermal Engineering): M.E/M.Tech or equivalent Post graduate degree in Thermal Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale.

Scientist/Engineer “SC” (Machine Design): M.E/M.Tech or equivalent Post graduate degree in Machine Design in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale.

Scientist/Engineer “SC” (Industrial Engineering): M.E/M.Tech or equivalent Post graduate degree in Industrial Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale.

Scientist/Engineer “SC” (Chemical Engineering): M.E/M.Tech or equivalent Post graduate degree in Chemical Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale.

Medical Officer “SC” (Orthopaedics): M.B.B.S + Diploma in Orthopaedics (Two years duration) recognized and registered with Medical Council of India.

Medical Officer “SD” (Orthopaedics): M.B.B.S + M.D/ DNB in Orthopaedics recognized and registered with Medical Council of India (OR) M.B.B.S + Diploma in Orthopedics (Two years duration) recognized and registered with Medical Council of India with five years experience.

Nationality: Only Indian Nationals need to Apply.

Pay Scale of ISRO – SHAR Recruitment:

For Scientist/Engineer “SC” & Medical Officer “SC”: Basic Pay of Rs 56,100/- + Admissible Allowances in Level 10 of Pay Matrix.

For Medical Officer “SD”: Basic Pay of Rs. 67,700 + Admissible Allowances.

Age Limit for ISRO – SHAR Recruitment:

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum:35 years

Note: There is No Upper Age limit for Medical Officer “SD” Post.

Selection Process: Candidates meeting the norms will be shortlisted for Interview. The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for Interview. Based on the academic performance of the candidates applied, the number of vacancies, number of candidates applied etc., initial screening will be done to short-list candidates for Interview. Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the interview and those who secure minimum 60% marks in the interview will be eligible for consideration for empanelment in the selection panel, in the order of merit.

Important Note:

1. The Posts are temporary but likely to continue.
2. Those Applying for more than one post should apply separately for each post.

Travelling Allowance: Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid to and fro Second Class Railway Fare by the shortest route from the address given in the online application to the place of interview or normal bus fare, whichever is less, on production of proof of journey such as the Railway Ticket Number / PNR Number / Bus Ticket etc.
