Bharat Dynamics Limited has released a Notification for 46 Management Trainee &Medical Officer Posts. Bharat Dynamics Limited is one of India’s manufacturers of ammunition and missile systems. It was founded in 1970 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. BDL was established in the year 1970 to be a manufacturing base for guided weapon systems. Begun with a pool of engineers drawn from Indian Ordnance Factories, DRDO and aerospace industries, BDL began by producing a first-generation anti-tank guided missile – the French SS11B1. This product was a culmination of a licence agreement the Government of India entered into with Aerospatiale. BDL has three manufacturing units, located at Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad, Telangana; Bhanur, Medak district, Telangana and Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Two new units are planned at Ibrahimpatnam, Ranga Reddy district, Telangana and Amravati, Maharashtra.

India began to develop indigenous missiles through the Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP), which gave BDL an opportunity to be closely involved with the programme wherein it was identified as the Prime Production Agency.

Selection Process for BDL Recruitment 2021:

The Selection Process for the BDL post made on the basis of the Computer Based Test, Written Test & Interview.

The CBT will be 2 hours time and will be in two parts comprising of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Part-I will conduct 100 MCQs on the concerned subject/discipline. Part-II will consist of 50 MCQs on General Aptitude.

The weightage to CBT and Interview Marks in the selection process is 85% and 15% respectively. Minimum qualifying marks for shortlisting for Interview candidates who have secured 60% in CBT for UR & EWS and 50% in CBT for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/ PwBD with respect to posts reserved for SC/ ST/ OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/ PwBD.
