Educational Qualifications of KIDWAI Recruitment 2018:
Assistant Professor of Radiation (Oncology) Group – A:
(i) MBBS
(ii) Requisite recognized postgraduate (PG) qualification in the subject (as per prevalent MCI norms)
- M.D. Radiotherapy (or)
- DNB Radiotherapy (Equivalence of qualification with M.D. Shall be as per Prevalent Mel norms.
(iii)Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator /Tutor in a recognized medical college Institute during the PG course/after PG in the subject.
iv) Appropriate additional Teaching and Research experience as Senior Resident/Research Assistant shall as per prevalent MCl norms. MD – One year as Senior Resident in an MCI recognized medical College/Institute, DNB – One year or more as Senior Resident/Research Assistant in an MCI Recognized medical college/Institute.
Assistant Professor of Radiation Physics, Group – A:
a) M.Sc Medical physics /Radiation physics with Ph.D. in Medical Physics or Radiation physics from a recognized university
OR
M.Sc. Physics plus Diploma in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized university with Ph.D. in Medical Physics/Radiation Physics.
b) An approval from AERB to function as Radiological Safety Officer (Level III)
c) Three years teaching! Research experience in the subject in a recognized University / Medical college/ Oncology Institute as Resident/Registrar/ Demonstrator / Tutor.
d) AERB and Mel criteria shall be applicable.
Assistant Physicist:
a) Post-graduate Degree in Physics OR a basic degree in physics as the main subject from a recognized university.
b) Post-M.Sc. Diploma (OR) PG Degree in Radiological Physics/Medical Physics/Radiation Physics from a recognized University.
c) Internship of minimum One (1) year in the recognized well-equipped radiation therapy department.
d) An approval from the competent authority to function as Radiation Safety Officer.
Physiotherapist (Group – B):
- a) Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized Institute.
- b) Two years practical experience in Physiotherapy.
- c) Desirable: Experience with Oncology patients from a recognized institute.
Radio Therapy Technologist (Group – C):
a) The candidate should have passed: 10+ 2 (12th std) or equivalent with science subjects from a recognized University or Board; and
b) Two years Radiation therapy Technologist’s Course or equivalent AERB authorized course, based on the minimum course concerned prescribed by the competent authority from a recognized Institution within field training in Radiotherapy.
c) Course Name and Training Centre should be approved by AERB for Radiotherapy Technologist.
AIIMS Rishikesh Recruitment 2018
Mould Room Technologist:
a) 10+ 2 equivalent with Science subject from a recognized board and
b) Two years Radiation therapy Technologist’s Course based on the minimum course concerned prescribed by the competent authority from a recognized Institution with III field training in radiotherapy.

Application shall be addressed to the Director, Kidwai Cancer Institute, Dr. M.H. Marigowda Road, Bangalore -560029 in a sealed cover superscribing the name of the post in capital letters along with the relevant Caste Certificate, Marks Cards of the minimum Qualifications, Degree Certificate, Experience Certificate, 371(J) Certificate, SSLCMarks Cards / Equivalent Certificate in proof of Age.
Application Fees: The Application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft Group – A candidates: Rs. 2,000/- by a General Merit category candidate and Rs. 500/- by a candidate belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Category-I ( which is not refundable) to be drawn in favour of the Director, Kidwai Cancer Institute, Dr. M.H. Marigowda Road, Bangalore -560029 payable at Bangalore.
Group – B candidates: Rs. 1,000/- by a General Merit category candidate and Rs. 300/- by a candidate belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Category-I ( which is not refundable) to be drawn in favour of the Director, Kidwai Cancer Institute, Dr. M.H. Marigowda Road, Bangalore -560029 payable at Bangalore.
Group – C candidates: Rs. 500/- by a General Merit category candidate and Rs. 200/- by a candidate belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Category-I ( which is not refundable) to be drawn in favour of the Director, Kidwai Cancer Institute, Dr. M.H. Marigowda Road, Bangalore -560029 payable at Bangalore.
Selection Process: The Candidate will be selected on the basis of merit to be determined on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the interview
