The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission has been set up by the Government of Odisha with the promulgation of the OSSSC (District Cadre) Rules, 2012 vide Government in G.A Department Notification No.10069/Gen dated.30.04.2012 and functioning w.e.f 14.05.2012 with a mandate to conduct direct recruitment of different categories of Group- ‘C’ District Cadre Posts under 26 Departments of Government as specified in the Rules through Competitive Examinations. As required under Rule-3(9) of the OSSSC (District Cadre) Rules, 2012, the Commission has formulated the OSSSC (Recruitment Examination) Regulations, 2013 to regulate the manner of conducting various recruitment examinations.
