Physical Test
Practical Test

possession of a certificate of the competition awarded by the following authorities:

International Competition: Secretary of the National Federation of the game concerned.
National Competition: Secretary of the National Secretary of the State Federation or Sports Concerned.

Physical, Written Test & Practical Test:

The Board of Officers (S) will be detailed to conduct physical and practical marks
will be allowed for the practical/physical tests as these will be only of a ‘Qualifying’ nature.
Selection to Gp ‘C’ posts will be allowed for the practical/trade/physical tests, as
applicable.

Physical Tests:

Fireman – Physical and Endurance test as prescribed in Qualification for Fireman will be conducted by the Board of Officers.

Endurance Test:

(a) Carrying a man (fireman lift of 65.5 kgs to a distance of 183
meters within 96 seconds).
(b) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long
jump).
(c) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.

All Trades (Except Fireman):

Physical tests will be carried out and decided by the Board of Officers and common for all trades to maintain commonality and transparency of the tests. Candidates are disqualified immediately for failing to qualify for any of the events and will not permit to appear in the next event or subsequent tests. The candidate will be immediately escorted out of the unit premises test venue.

Written Test:

The written test will form overall merit, and the minimum passing marks
are 33%. The written test will comprise 4 parts as per the details mentioned below.
The Question Paper-cum-Answer Sheet of the Written Test will be bilingual in English and
Hindi, However, the questions on the portion of English language will be in English and
to be answered in English only.
