Central Government Health Scheme Recruitment 2021 has released a Notification for 24 Pharmacists & Other Posts. The Central Government Health Scheme was started in 1954 with the objective of providing comprehensive medical care to the Central Government employees, both serving and pensioners and their dependent family members. The scheme is also providing service to members and former members of parliament, judges of Supreme Court and High Court, freedom fighters, former Governors and former Vice-Presidents of India.
Central Government Health Scheme was introduced in Mumbai in the year 1963 with seven dispensaries. Over the years the scheme has expanded considerably and presently there are 26 Dispensaries, 2 Polyclinics, 3 Dental units, 4 Homoeopathic units and 2 Ayurvedic dispensaries. The scheme is extended to cover upto Kandivli on the Western side, upto Ambernath on the Central side and upto Belapur on the Harbour line side.
