State Bank Of India\u00a0 Central Recruitment & Promotion Department Engagement and Promotion of Apprentice exams dates are posted to April. STIPEND\/ BENEFIT:<\/h3>\n

The apprentices are eligible for a stipend of Rs.15000\/- per month during the 1st year, Rs.16500\/- per month during the 2nd year and Rs.19000\/- per month during the 3rd year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances\/ bene\ufb01ts.<\/p>\n

DURATION OF TRAINING:<\/h3>\n

Three years only. The selected apprentices should be willing to qualify in the examinations of IIBF (JAIIB\/CAIIB) during 3 years of apprenticeship engagement in the Bank.<\/p>\n

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION as of 31.10.2020: Graduation from a recognised University\/ Institute.<\/span><\/p>\n

AGE:<\/h3>\n

Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as of 31.10.2020 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.11.1992 and not later than 31\/10\/2000 (both days inclusive). The maximum age indicated is for unreserved and EWS candidates. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC\/ST\/OBC\/PWD candidates.<\/p>\n

SELECTION PROCESS:<\/h3>\n

Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of (i) online written test and (ii) test of the local language.<\/p>\n

Test of the local language:<\/h4>\n

The speci\ufb01ed local languages of the states are as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular state should be pro\ufb01cient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) of the speci\ufb01ed local language of that State as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The test for knowledge of speci\ufb01ed opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying for the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be engaged as an apprentice.<\/p>\n

Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet\/ certi\ufb01cate evidencing having studied the speci\ufb01ed opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.<\/p>\n

Candidates will have to appear for the test of speci\ufb01ed opted local language at a centre (to be decided by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his\/her own expenses.<\/p>\n

Medical Examination:<\/h4>\n

Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to his\/her being declared medically \ufb01t as per the requirement of the Bank.
\nFinal Selection will be subject to:
\na) Veri\ufb01cation of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application
\nb) Qualifying in a test of speci\ufb01ed opted local language, where applicable, as detailed above.
\nc) Declared \ufb01t in the Medical examination.<\/p>\n
