How to prepare for SSC CHSL 2020<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for CHSL 2020 for which the expected date for the tier-1 examination is from 12th to 27th April 2021. The exam date for Tier-II and Tier-III exam will be notified later. The applicants should start the preparation from now. So that it will be easy to crack the exam in the first attempt with a better score. As compared to past years the competition is high. Understanding Exam Pattern:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Let us start by exploring the structure of the exam before moving on to the SSC 10+2 preparation tips. SSC conducts the exam in 3 tiers.<\/p>\n

The SSC CHSL 2020 exam will consist of three tests i.e. Tier-I (Computer Based Test), Tier-II (Descriptive Paper) and Tier-III (Skill Test \/ Typing Test). The exam wise details for SSC CHSL 2020 is mentioned below:<\/p>\n

Tier-I (Computer Based Test):<\/h3>\n

The Tier-I exam will consist of objective type multiple choice questions and the questions will be in both English & Hindi for General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Tier-II (Descriptive Paper):<\/h3>\n

It will be a descriptive paper of 100 marks where to Pen & Paper is needed. The duration for Tier-II exam will be 1 hour (20 minutes time will be provided to the candidates eligible for scribe). The minimum qualifying marks for this exam is 33%. The exam will have to attend either in English or Hindi.<\/p>\n

Tier-III (Skill Test \/ Typing Test):<\/h3>\n

Tier-III test will be conducted to the shortlisted candidates on the computers provided by the Staff Selection Commission. It will be of qualifying nature. Errors in the skill test will be calculated up to 2 decimal places.<\/p>\n

Making a Study Plan for SSC CHSL 2020:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Start with the basics<\/strong> before moving on to the shortcuts. A minor tweak in the question can leave the shortcut crunchers at sea. Therefore, know the conventional method to solve every question before moving on to the shortcuts.<\/p>\n

Avoid rushing through the basics. A solid foundation is essential to ace any exam. As of now, the time available is ample even for someone who is clueless about the exam. Therefore, avoid skipping the basics and devote sufficient time to each topic.<\/p>\n

Solve <\/strong>previous year papers<\/strong> of SSC CHSL<\/a> and CGL exams<\/a>. The CHSL exam is more or less a toned down version of the CGL exam. Therefore, going through the past papers of both exams can infuse the much-needed confidence to tackle the paper. Also, it is a commonly known fact that SSC repeats questions. Therefore, solving previous year papers will give you an edge in the actual exam.<\/p>\n
