There are 24 high courts<\/strong> in India. 25th high court<\/strong> is going to be instituted in Andhra Pradesh <\/strong>in 2019<\/strong>. Below the high courts is a hierarchy of subordinate courts such as the civil courts, family courts, criminal courts and various other district high courts. High courts are constitutional courts as under Part VI , Chapter V, Article 214<\/strong> of the constitution.<\/sup><\/p>\n
