Indian National Congress\u00a0Annual Sessions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Indian National Congress is initially formed by A.O.Hume<\/strong> to bring together educated individuals inorder to influence the policymaking in the country.Before the formation of INC, Indian National Conference Sessions were held in 1883 & 1885. Surendranath Benerjea & Anand Mohan Bose were the main architects of the Indian National Conference.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 Lord Dufferin<\/strong> was the Viceroy of British India when the INC was formed. The first conference of representatives was convened on December 25, 1885, by the Union of Pune (Maharashtra) but the meeting was later decided to be held in Bombay. INC Sessions were held regularly in the month of the December every year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Important Points regarding INC:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Womesh Chandra Bonnerjee<\/strong> was the president of the first session of the Indian National Congress.<\/p>\n

2.Annie Beasant<\/strong> was the first female President of the Indian National Congress.<\/p>\n

3.Sarojini Naidu<\/strong> was the first Indian woman president of the Indian National Congress.<\/p>\n

4.Badruddin Tyabji<\/strong> was the first muslim President of the Indian National Congress.\u00a0Rahimtulla Sayani<\/strong> was the second muslim President of the Indian National Congress.<\/p>\n

5.George Yule<\/strong> was the first European President of the Indian National Congress.<\/p>\n

6.Dadhabhai Naoroji<\/strong> was the first Parsi President of the Indian National Congress.<\/p>\n

7.Sankaran Narayin<\/strong> was the first & the only Keralite President of the Indian National Congress Session.<\/p>\n

8.Hakim Ajmal Khan<\/strong> was the only person to be appointed as the President of\u00a0 INC, All India Muslim League & All India Khilafat Committee.<\/p>\n
