How to Prepare for GK Section of CMAT Exam 2022<\/h1>\n

So, All the MBA aspirants must start their preparation. The GK Section of the CMAT is one of the most important sections in the CMAT Exam. In the CMAT exam, there will be four sections (Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension,<\/span>\u00a0General Awareness<\/span><\/strong>) PLUS the additional optional section (Innovation &Entrepreneurship). How to prepare for GK Section for CMAT 2022?<\/h2>\n

Preparing for the General Knowlege section for CMAT is very difficult if you don’t know where or how to start your preparation. As we see, the questions of the General Knowlege section can be given from various topics. This can lead to being highly choosy while preparing for the GK section.<\/p>\n

As I mentioned before in the exam pattern, the exam duration is about 3 hours. If you have a well-built grasp of this section, you can manage your valuable time during the exam. Topics to Prepare in the GK Section<\/h2>\n

Normally the General Knowledge questions can be classified into two categories Static GK<\/strong> and Dynamic GK. <\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Static GK<\/strong> questions are questions from topics that cannot be changed like the facts from History, Geography, and some ‘<\/span>superlatives<\/span><\/strong>‘ like First, Largest, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The Dynamic GK<\/strong> questions are those questions that change with time like\u00a0<\/span>Current Affairs, Business Affairs, Politics,<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0etc. These are the major topics to be covered by the exam aspirants. Reading a business newspaper daily will make the aspirants easily become aware of the latest updates that can have a higher possibility of questions in the exam.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • There is no specific weightage for both categories. Almost the weightage will be similar for both categories. So, aspirants must concentrate on both Static and Dynamic GK questions.<\/span><\/li>\n
