How to prepare for SNAP in 1 month?<\/h1>\n

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)<\/strong> is a popular entrance exam, conducted by the Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune. The exam is conducted for admission into the 26 MBA programs offered at 15 institutes (such as SIBM Pune, SCMHRD, SIIB, etc).<\/span> The SNAP Exam 2021<\/strong> will be held on three dates, as it was conducted last year. The candidate can choose to either appear for one test or a maximum of two test attempts<\/strong> from the three test dates, as per their choice. The candidate needs to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1950 per attempt to appear for the SNAP exam. If a candidate wishes to appear for two tests, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation. (Also note that the Test dates cannot be changed once you have paid the registration fee for that date.)<\/p>\n

As there is an option to take the exam twice, it is better to make use of this opportunity and attempt twice. In case the first attempt doesn’t go well, you don’t have to waste another year for another attempt. Also, if you’re taking two attempts, it is better to take the first attempt in December, and the next one in Jan (rather than both attempts in Jan). This would give you more time to revise any concepts and come up with a better test-taking strategy.<\/p>\n

Is there a negative marking?<\/strong> Yes<\/strong>, there is a negative marking in SNAP 2021. The marking pattern to be one mark for each correct answer and 25 % negative marking for each incorrect answer.<\/p>\n

How to prepare for SNAP?<\/h2>\n

Firstly, the mistake to avoid<\/strong> is choosing only one section (among the three) and preparing only that. SNAP is relatively easier when compared to CAT and XAT. Hence the candidates should focus on all the sections during the preparation. Although most institutes (accepting the SNAP scores) do not consider sectional cut-offs, aspirants should not skip any section completely. Having balanced preferences will allow aspirants to pick up the low hanging fruits in all the sections.
