We know that log5 = 0.69 and log3 = 0.47
Substituting values in the given equation-
log5/log3 = log(2+x)/log5
=> 0.69/0.47 = log(2+x)/log5
=> 0.69*0.69*0.47 = log (2+x)
=> 1.023 = log(2+x)
=> 2+x = 10^1.023
=> x = 10.54-2 = 8.54
Hence, the value of x is 8.54
