Two buses start at the same time from Delhi and Agra, which are 300 km. apart, towards each other. After what time will they cross each other if their speeds are 38 km per hour and 37 km per hour ?
Solution
Let 't' be the time taken by buses to meet.
Distance travelled by 'Bus 1' = 38t Km.
Distance travelled by 'Bus 2' = 37t Km.
$$\because$$ buses are travelling towards each other,
$$\therefore 37t+38t=300$$.
$$75t=300$$.
$$t=4$$ hr.
Hence, Option A is correct.
