Question 10

Which of the following subjects does G like?

Solution

A likes Maths and studies in the 5th standard with only one friend who likes Marathi.

D studies in the 6th standard with only one person and does not like Civics.

I studies with two other friends. Both the friends who study with I like languages. The one who likes History does not study in 5th standard or 6th standard, so I is the person who likes history and studies in 7th standard.

E does not like languages means E studies along with D in 6th standard.

C does not like English, Hindi or Civics means C studies with A in 5th standard and likes Marathi.

As two friends of I in 7th standard like languages, and D doesn't like Civics, E is the person who likes Civics.

B and G are the two other persons who study in 7th standard. Among them G could like either English or Hindi.
